Week 1 - Laying the Foundations: You will be introduced to my Simple 6-Step Protocol for building lean body composition, and you will start your workouts in my user-friendly app. 3 workouts to choose from each day including a Beginner (at home or gym), Intermediate At Home 30 Minute Express, or Intermediate-Advanced Gym Workout

Week 2 - Nutrition Deep Dive: You'll learn practical tips for meal planning to ensure you're getting the nutrients you need to thrive.

Week 3 -Embrace Strength and HIIT: We will focus on the benefits of strength training and HIIT

Week 4 - Cortisol Control: We'll explore stress reduction techniques, mindfulness practices, and lifestyle adjustments to help you maintain balanced cortisol levels.

Week 5 - Taming Inflammation & Insulin Resistance, and Improving Gut Health: This week we will cover a range of factors that contribute to muscle loss and weight gain and explore a variety of strategies to counteract these.

Week 6- Demystifying Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT): We will review FAQ's related to MHT.

Week 7- Solidifying Habits: Start setting boundaries and explore habit stacking so that your habits stick.

Week 8- Review and Recommit: I will suppot you to develop achievable goals and set intentions for the future so that you can continue your progress and maintain your gains.

Question 1: What type of workouts can I expect?

I provide 4 strength training workouts a week, with short sessions of high intensity intervals. These are the conditions necessary to build lean mass during menopause. There are beginner to advanced options, as well as gym or at home options to choose from.

Question 2: Can I do my workouts at home?

Yes! There are at home and gym options to choose from each day.

Question 3: I am so busy, should I even bother?

You should! I have created an express at home option (30 minute workouts). Invest this time for yourself and you will feel incredible I promise.

Question 4: I am a beginner, can I still participate?

Yes, I have included beginner workouts, as well as intermediate to advanced. I am here as your coach to support you. I will provide a beginner's guide, there are videos for each exercise, along with instructions.

Question 5: What do I need to participate?

If you go to the gym, nothing extra is needed. If you want to workout at home and are a beginnner you will need exercise bands and a mat. If you are doing express home workouts (intermediate level) you will need some dumbbells and a mat.

Question 6: I love food, I am worried this program will be too restrictive.

Nope! I recommend an anti-inflammatory diet, but the beauty of this way of nourishment is you can eat delicious food and not feel hungry. I provide recipes and guidance to get you set up for success.

Question 7: How is this program different from all the other fitness programs out there?

Question 8: I already attend a fitness program I love, is this still the right program for me?

Yes, because we are not only focused on fitness! You can keep doing activities you love. I will coach you to gradually increase the weights you are lifting in your fitness classes, or if you are a runner or cyclist for instance, I will suggest ways you can integrate a strength and hiit routine as well (which research indicates are essential for building lean mass).

I developed Age Freely Fitness and Wellness, a Canadian small business, to support women to thrive throughout the menopause transition and beyond. I am a certified Menopause Coaching Specialist, personal trainer, and yoga instructor with a Master's degree in Health Promotion and an undergraduate degree in Recreation and Health Education.
