My Expertise

I have combined my advanced education, including a Master of Science in Health Promotion, over 20 years of experience advocating for healthy public policy and changes to our health systems, and my certifications as a menopause coaching specialist, personal trainer and yoga instructor to create Age Freely Fitness and Wellness. My mission is to empower active women to regain control of their bodies during the menopause transition and step into the strongest, healthiest and most beautiful version of themselves.

My Transformation!

In my mid 40's I was hit hard with symptoms of perimenopause. These included mood swings, anxiety, poor sleep, and I suddenly put on weight and my body shape and size changed dramatically. I had always worked out and eaten well, but suddenly nothing worked! The more I tried (think hours of cardio a day), the worse things became. It wasn't until I started researching the menopause transition and arming myself with evidence-based practices to counteract the hormonal decline to build lean mass that things started to change. Working with my own personal trainer I started working out more strategically, refining my eating habits and tackling stress and cortisol. I am the healthiest, strongest and most confident I have ever been in my life and I want to bring my program to as many women as possible!
